Man this place. Just passing threw and the owners was super nice, very clean place. I got the seafood platter. Man that was a tasty plate. If I'm ever back in the area, definitely going to come back to this place.

Good food hot and fresh. Salad bar doesn't have your typical salad. It has potato salad, macaroni salad,and cold slaw. Ketchup dispensers don't work properly but otherwise everything else was perfect

I see the bad reviews on here and I hate that you, as someone thinking of dining here, see negative reviews about it. As a native born resident, I have eaten at all of the catfish places in CENLA and I think very highly of Paradise. First of all, the service has always been exemplary here. To me, that is always the most important factor when rating my experience at a restaurant. The staff greets and serves you with a smile. Second, the food is amazing! Their never-frozen catfish is second none in my opinion. If I have fish while traveling, I always use Paradise as the standard to measure against. The fish is always crispy and piping hot. If you don't like crispy fish, maybe this is not the place for you and the deli at Super 1 may be a better option for you. (Not sarcasm actually, it can be pretty decent there too! (-:) Third, the prices are a little high. HOWEVER, you are getting fresh, Louisiana, farm-raised catfish, that hasn't been frozen. Combined with the exemplary service, that makes it worth the price to me! Finally, the atmosphere at Paradise is excellent! If you're looking for a down-home, fish-fry at grandma's house experience, give Paradise a shot! Take all of the reviews you read as opinion, In my food-lover's opinion, don't hesitate to give Paradise a shot!

EXCELLENT FOOD as well as EXCELLENT SERVICE. My family and I went to Paradise Catfish Kitchen Last Night. I had The Jumbo Fried Shrimp Which were Delicious. My family had an assortment of items on the menu, All of Which were Delicious. The Lady who served Our Table was Very Kind and Accommodating. I couldn't Ask for a Better Dining Experience.

Great food and fair prices, unlike Buckets Seafood , you get what you pay for. 2 peaces of fish, Hush puppy, side order and salad bar for 9.99 drink. Great service and drink to go. Will go back here before going back to Buckets. You get a bucket of peanuts too.3 fish and 6 shrimp was 16. verses Baskets 2 small fish and 4 shrimp for a very similar price. Food at Paradise Catfish was not over cooked on the ends as was Buckets. Highly recommend Paradise Catfish!! The have been around for several years as well. Have had Birthday Parties here in their private room. Always enjoy the food and gotten great service.

Fish and shrimp were good. If I crave fried fish this is where I go. Many places over cook their fried catfish, but not here.

Always enjoy my time at this place! The wait staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. They've been around for a long time, and that's a testimony to their quality and consistency. (They also make a pretty good cheeseburger, in addition to their excellent catfish and shrimp!)

Best fried catfish around, and their hushpuppies are out of this world good. I love this family owned little restaurant and sweet country atmosphere. They have a great salad/coleslaw bar. Food selections are limited, and so are their hours of operation. When you do get the chance to go, you won't be disappointed.
